About Puppy Arnie (On Trial 8/8/13)
Arnie is a Chihuahua X puppy only 5 months old. He is an absolute charmer. He plays well with other dogs, and is very playful. He loves a good game of \ fetch. He can catch and loves playing tug of war. Arnie is starting to learn basic obedience, he can sit when asked and is housetrained. Arnie is a very deserving little man who just loves hugs, pats, being carried and LOVES cuddles.
Arnie is young so still learning how to be a good dog. He isn't suited to a house with small children as he doesn't like to be disturbed when eating and might give a warning snap. This can be corrected with training. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. He is more than worth the little effort.
Arnie is an inside dog and needs to be allowed inside, at least when people are home, and to sleep inside. He's a charming and affectionate little man who will love to be someone's very best friend for life.
For more information or to meet Arnie please phone foster carer Laura on 0497-098-508.Arnie is in foster care on the Newcastle, NSW 2296.
Arnie's $450 adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
