About Missy (On Hold pending adoption 13/6)
Missy is a beautiful, gentle black kelpie X girl of around 2-3 years of age. She is very gentle, and loves a pat and a cuddle. She is great with all people- big and small. She can be a little shy at first, but once she gets to know you she is very affectionate. She will sit in front of anyone to just get a pat. She is good with small children and other dogs.
Being a kelpie, Missy is active and loves to play with my other dog and rumble around the yard with her rope and toys. But she also loves lying in the sun and loves to be gentle and sit with you for attention. She likes to have some time indoors to enjoy being with her family.
Missy is a smart dog who quickly learns new things. She can sit on command. She loves to go for a walk and walks well on the lead. She is house trained and will hold on until she can go outside. Missy is best suited to a home where she will be part of the family. They will walk her daily and give her all the attention she deserves. She is a beautiful, gentle girl and has lots of love to offer.
For more information or to meet Missy please phone foster carer Amanda on 0432 811 034 (ring outside of school hours). Missy is in foster care in Maitland, NSW 2321 and is available for adoption interstate.
Missy's $400 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
