About Barbie (On Trial 2/7/13)
Hi, my name is Barbie. I’m an adorable 12 week old Wolfhound x puppy who will bring you a life time of happiness. I am a beautiful, loving, sweet girl. I love to play with my foster sisters and brothers all day with a couple of short naps in between. I have two favourite toys; one is a soft squeaky giraffe and the other a squeaky rubber chicken which helps with my teething (so I don’t chew my foster parent’s furniture). I live inside with my foster sisters and brothers and absolutely love to run around in my backyard and have a rest in the shade with my favourite toys or even a sleep next to my human to keep me warm.
I am too little to stay outside all day until I’m older. I’m successfully using piddle pads and I let my foster humans know when I need to go outside for a number two. Because I’m still a puppy my new family will need to take me to puppy training classes. I’m a very smart girl and I will thrive on learning new things, I already know the commands and hand signals to sit and shake hands (when food is involved).
I was born on the 08/02/13. I will grow to be a large sized wolfhound x and I will need a secure yard and plenty of exercise. My new family should have another playful gentle dog to keep me from getting bored or a home where I won’t be left alone all day.
For more information or to meet Barbie please phone foster carer Mitchell on 0431 492 381 or email mitchelltcw@gmail.com (but phone is preferred). Barbie is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW.
Barbie's $450 adoption fee includes her desexing, first two vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and microchipping. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
