Tessa

Beautiful Tessa, barely a year old, was dumped in a rural pound pregnant with eight pups and left to die. She has now weaned her pups, been desexed and is keen and ready to find a new home.

During her time in foster care before, during and after whelping, Tessa has been a super easy girl. Too young to be a very good mother, she happily surrendered her pups to hand rearing and set about making herself a popular fixture in both her foster families. She’s easy going and loves both human and canine company. We think she’d be best suited to life with other dogs. And of course the mental and physical stimulation that any young vibrant kelpie needs. She is a well balanced girl, so her energetic periods are offset by lots of lounging as long as she gets reasonable levels of activity and stimulation each day.

Tess has an extremely sweet disposition, is super snuggly and has been relaxed both inside and outside. We’d prefer to rehome her somewhere where she has an outdoor (or indoor/outdoor lifestyle) rather than being a purely indoor dog.

We’re excited for whoever adopts this beautiful girl as she is truly a fabulous dog.
