About Dexter
Dexter is a wrinkly-faced cuddle-bum who loves children. He is shy and timid with strangers, and has a strong preference for women over men. He is used to being around dogs of all sizes and MUST have a doggy buddy. He also is cat-friendly.
He is housetrained and needs to be allowed to live indoors with his family - he frets if shut outside. He is happiest when he can sit beside you or lie at your feet. Dexter thrives on quiet companionship and would love to be part of a female-dominated household that includes him in their daily activities.
Dex likes to go for walks, but is frightened of crowds and of loud noises such as garbage trucks, so he is not suited to a city life.
Dexter is fostered in Wagga Wagga.
Adoption details
Our goal is to match pets' personalities and exercise/training requirements with people whose lifestyle they are best suited to. This reduces the chances of the pet winding up in a pound again. Please don't feel offended by our adoption process, it is for everyone's and every animal's benefit:
1. Submit application for adoption (obtain at Best Friends Pet Rescue website)
2. Homechecks are conducted on short-listed approved applicant(s)
3. Best match selected according to the pet's personality and needs
4. Successful applicant notified, and must place holding deposit while transport/pickup arrangements made
5. Adoption transaction completed
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
