About Mavis
This girl has had a rough time. She has been through 3 owners and not one of them bothered to do anything about the growth that must have been so uncomfortable (see last picture on Mavis' full profile page on www.wodongadogrescue.org.au - you will also find a viso of Mavis being happy and the fun loving dog taht she is, plus more pictures!).
She sat in the pound for the 8 days and was such a sweetheart that everyone fell in love with her, so despite the obvious, we just couldn't let her go.
Thanks to the wonderful support of our vet and the public we were able to provide her with the vet care and surgery to remove the growth and now she is able to live the life she deserves.
She hasn't looked back and behaves just like a puppy.
She just loves her walks although she does pull a bit, particularly when she sees a parked car as she always thinks it’s her car and needs to get in it.
She is amazing with other dogs but she hasn't been around cats. She is good around stock.
Mavis just loves to play ball too.
She is great to bath and loves to car; in fact if the door is open she is in it.
A couple of times I have been going out and she is in the car waiting, and she isn't going to get out in a hurry.
Mavis would make a wonderful addition to any family.
She is also house trained.
Although Mavis is listed for adoption on her own, in foster care, she and her foster brother Amigo have formed an amazing bond and they just love each other. So if you’re after the double whammy family package, please consider keeping these two together and adopting them both!
