About Stan
Stan is a 3 yo purebred, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He is a cuddly little \ man with a cheeky spark! He will lay on your lap as soon as you sit down. At other times he'll run around playfully when excited or playing chasing with the other dogs. He barks when excited and has a happy spring in his step. He will occasionally jump up at doors when he wants to be let in or out.
Stan must have indoor access and is used to sleeping in the lounge on a mat, he would be more than happy to upgrade to the bed. He is great with children! He's also terrific with other dogs, although is intimidated by big dogs or dominant natures. He has a very soft, pretty coat, and those lovely Cavalier ears. He will need regular brushing and bathing to keep him looking his best.
Stan is very good about coming back to you when you call him. He needs a safe yard as he does try to adventure down the road on occasion. He loves the car and getting out and about and needs exercise to maintain his health and weight. Stan is a very affectionate little man, full of love and life and has never ending cuddles and kisses for that special furever home.
For more information or to meet Stan please phone foster carer Shannon on 0459 323 477. Stan is in foster care in Mandalong, NSW (Lake Macquarie, between Morisset and Wyee) and is available for adoption interstate.
Stan's $400 adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
