About Missie (On Trial 21/6/13)
Missie is a 5 month old Kelpie x Jack Russell puppy. She is a fun loving and playful puppy who is learning new things every day. She is a very fast learner. When given a treat she will sit and raise her foot to say please she will also do this when it is her dinner time when u ask her to wait. She loves playing with other dogs and isn't afraid when they get a little rough with her. She loves to come inside for cuddles before bed time. She enjoys her walks and walks well on a lead. She loves to be picked up and held on her back like a baby and get tummy rubs.
Missie is great playmates with our kitten! They chase each other and Missie doesn't mind being attacked and chewed on by the kitten. Missie is also living with a small parrot who flies inside and outside with the dogs and Missie just watches her, she will sometimes come up to the bird and give her a smell and try and play with her but the bird has other ideas.
We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
Missie will grow into a small – medium dog. She would suit all types of families as she is such a versatile puppy. She will make a wonderful addition to any family.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
