About Marco *On Trial in His New Home*
*MARCO IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HIS NEW HOME* Areeba, Areeba!! Adorable Marco is one of a litter of healthy, happy puppies who were born on Valentine’s Day this year. Their mother is a Chihuahua, while their father was a “visiting” Mini Fox Terrier mix.
All of the pups have lovely, friendly natures and are used to being handled (cuddled!) by primary school aged children as their foster carer is a teacher so they’ve been making regular visits to her classroom much to everyone’s delight – the children even got to name them!! They get along well with their carers other dogs who are a Kelpie x and a Wirehaired Terrier and they enjoy being spoilt by her teenage daughters. All of the pups LOVE food, so hopefully this helps make training them a breeze!
Cutie-pup Marco tends to look more Terrier than Chihuahua and he’s probably the biggest of the pups. He enjoys snuggles on his carers lap at any opportunity he can get or else you’ll usually find him cuddled up to a sibling. Marco also loves a bit of “rough and tumble” with his brother and sisiters followed by a nice long puppy nap. As he’s only a young pup he will require ongoing obedience training as well as socialisation with other dogs so he grows up to have lovely manners. Daily walks or runs around the backyard, secure fencing, chicken necks to chew on and toys to play with will make Marco very happy indeed!
As Marco is already picking up housetraining he would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a doggie companion to learn from or on his own but only if he won’t be left alone for long periods of time especially while he’s a pup.

Adoption details
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed,
references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
