About Sophia *On Trial in Her New Home*
*SOPHIA IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HER NEW HOME* Mi Hermoso Amor!! Cutie-pup Sophia is one of a litter of healthy, happy puppies who were born on Valentine’s Day this year. Their mother is a Chihuahua, while their father was a “visiting” Mini Fox Terrier mix.
All of the pups have lovely, friendly natures and are used to being handled (cuddled!) by primary school aged children as their foster carer is a teacher so they’ve been making regular visits to her classroom much to everyone’s delight – the children even got to name them!! They get along well with their carers other dogs who are a Kelpie x and a Wirehaired Terrier and they enjoy being spoilt by her teenage daughters. All of the pups LOVE food, so hopefully this helps make training them a breeze!
Gorgeous Sophia is the most placid, and the most sooky of the puppies. She has taken a real shine to one of her carer’s daughter who she follows around like a shadow and she reckons Sophia is pretty special too. She enjoys playtime with her siblings though she’s happy to snuggle up and go to sleep on her own. As she’s only a young pup she will require ongoing obedience training as well as socialisation with other dogs so she grows up to have lovely manners. Daily walks or runs around the backyard, secure fencing, chicken necks to chew on and toys to play with will make Sophia very happy indeed!
As Sophia is already picking up housetraining she would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a doggie companion to learn from or on her own but only if she won’t be left alone for long periods of time especially while she’s a pup.

Adoption details
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed,
references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
