About Sugar (On Trial 17/8/13)
Sugar is a 12yr old Shih Tzu x Maltese. She loves children, dogs and cats. She is an inside dog day and night and loves to curl up on the lounge at night next to me. She follows me everywhere I go. She is housetrained. I have a doggie door so she can go out when she needs too. She would need to go with someone who is home most of the time she doesn't like being home alone.
Sugar has a low shedding coat which needs regular brushing (every few days depending on length), bathing (every few weeks) and clipping (every 4 to 8 weeks) to keep her comfortable and beautiful.
She doesn't require a lot of walking, just a nice stroll around the block will do.
Sugar is a loving, affectionate girl who has lots of love to give and will make a perfect companion and loyal best friend for anyone needing to add some love and joy to their life.
For more information or to meet Sugar please phone foster carer Carmen on 0421 859 929 or email carmen0785@hotmail.com . Sugar is in foster care in Cardiff, NSW (Newcastle).
Sugar's $100 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
