About Juno (On Trial 11/7/13)
Juno is a 5 year old, female, Cattle dog (Blue Heeler) x Border Collie. She has part of her ear missing which tends to give her a cute lopsided look. She is very loving and affectionate and she will come up and give you a nudge if she wants a pat and will not think twice about snuggling up with you on the lounge.
She loves nothing better than to have you throw her a ball which she will bring back to you. However she will not surrender it until she is ready. She likes to make a game of this.
Juno is house trained. Travels well. She gets on well with some dogs and loves to have a play wrestle with my other foster dogs but not with others so we recommend she be the only dog in the family. She responds well to commands sit, lie, wait, and go. Her mum tells me she will give you a high five and she was learning to roll over. She needs some work walking on a lead but is great at off leash areas where she can run wild but she comes when called.
I do not know how she is with children as her owners did not have any and nor do I. She sleeps indoors. She was a bit put out at first as I would not share my bed with her but she has decided she can make do with the lounge once those humans have gone to bed and she can have it all to herself. She is just a genuinely lovely friendly girl.
For more information or to meet Juno please contact Anne on 0412 837 867. Juno is in Charlestown, NSW 2290.
Juno's $400 adoption fee covers her de-sexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, micro-chipping, and lifetime registration.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
