About Rusty (On Hold pending adoption)
Rusty: male, 18 months, kelpie x. Although we have not known Rusty very long, from the first moment we met we could not help but fall in love with him. He is such a sweet loving pup who is so willing to please and would be more than happy to curl up on your lap and stay there - if only he would fit.
He was great in the car and just curls up on the seat and enjoys the ride. When we got home he was so overjoyed to have playmates to romp around with inside and out. He will sit and wait for his food which he even shares with my other two foster dogs. He's fine with other dogs.
Last night being his first night I put him in a crate in the front room just to make sure he did not get into any mischief. He was a bit unsure at first. This may have something to do with the fact he has been at the pound. With very little coaxing he went in and settled for the night with no crying and he has even come inside today and gone in there to have a peaceful lie down.
He will make someone very happy as their best friend and soul mate, staying by your side and following your every move!

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
