Skittles

Skittles (Skids for short) is a super smart, active, blue Kelpie pup who is currently fostered on a farm. He has been learning the basics of working with sheep and has proven to be a natural. Not only is he gentle with them, his natural herding instincts will make him a valuable asset to a farm.

Besides being great with sheep, Skids is also great with other dogs; he loves playing and goofing around with his current Kelpie foster sisters. Skids also loves cuddles, he is a big smooch at the end of a hard working day & he just flops down. However Skids needs a strong owner who will look past those gorgeous brown eyes and the cute puppy pleading head tilt that he sometimes uses when he doesn’t want to listen.

Still a puppy, Skids has learnt the basic commands such as sit, stay, shake & is currently learning drop. As for further sheep training, his current foster mum hasn’t progressed with the commands, and she is leaving it open to his forever family to train him the way that they need him to work.
