About Tommy on trial in his new home
Tommy is a beautifully bred male german shepherd who is not for interstate transfer. Tommy has been in several homes since a puppy and is a striking dog with excellent lineage and very people focused. The last owner decided he was surplus to their requirements so he was sold to a serial dog dumper unfortunately who left poor Tommy in a townhouse courtyard and moved out leaving him with two opened tins of dog food to keep him alive.
Thankfully a very kinded hearted lady took this beautiful dog into care and contacted us. Despite all this Tommy has the most wonderful nature and is lovely with all people. Having had such a rough start to his life Tommy lacks social skills with other dogs and we feel may be better as the one and only dog in the family unless he is homed with an experienced dog owner.
Tommy has been very well bred and has excellent hip and elbow scores. He was no longer wanted by his former owner and after excelling in the show ring this lovely dog was no longer wanted.
Whoever takes on the commitment of adopting this dog will have a loyal and loving family pet.
Like all shepherds this boy is not for the novice owner he needs a commited owner who understand this breed and their need to be an integral member of the family. Not left in the yard as a door bell whilst the family are inside this boy deserves much better.
So please do not ring if you cannot offer this lovely dog the best of homes. After all this dog has gone through in his short life he requires a loving home and boundless love and attention.
If you can offer Tommy all the above then please ring Jo.
Medical notes
Tommy is a desexed male pure bred papered German Shepherd.
