About Ollie (On Trial 16/6/13)
Ollie is an 8 year old purebred Chihuahua. He is a tiny little fella. A great companion for an older person or anyone who needs a friend. Ollie will fetch his favourite red squeeky toy and loves a trip in the car. He enjoys a relaxing walk off the lead. He has a very handsome chocolate brown coat. He enjoys being brushed and is no trouble to bath. Ollie is housetrained and used to being inside and will sleep in his bed or loves a cuddle in your bed if you'll let him. He is friendly with most other dogs.
Sadly, Ollie's elderly owner has to go to nursing home and Ollie has also to find a new home.
Chihuahuas typically live to around 16 so Ollie still has half his life ahead of him to enjoy with his new family. He just wants to live inside and keep someone company. He is a friendly and happy little boy and no trouble to look after.
For more information or to meet Ollie please phone Caroline on 02- 4988-6401 or email moorefieldsfarm@bigpond.com . Ollie is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW.
Ollie's $200 adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
