About Bruce
There once was a beautiful kelpie girl, who was rescued from a country pound and brought to Melbourne. She was named Sweetie because there has never been a more beautiful natured dog in all of time. She gave birth to three healthy puppies, and Bruce inherited her beautiful nature…..but is definitely the alpha-male of the litter!
Bruce is an independent little fellow who likes playing with the other dogs and is completely relaxed around cats and kids, but is equally happy when he’s on his own. That’s not to say he won’t need the love and attention of an involved and active owner of course, but we think even at this early age he’s showing signs of being well suited as a tradie’s dog or similar.
Because he’s the leader in the litter and likes taking charge, he’s likely to do best with an experienced dog owner who will provide structure and training. He’s had a start with crate training, house training and a basic command or two, but it’s early days for this little man with the big personality. He’s been willing and eager to learn, so he’ll need ongoing reinforcement and new challenges to keep him engaged.
With strong human leadership, Bruce’s determined will and sweet nature will combine to make him an awesome best mate.
Drop us a line if Bruce sounds like your boy. If not, make sure you also look at the listings for his brother Billy and his sister Lucy! They are three very different pups, so there's sure to be one that's perfect for you.
