Billy

There once was a beautiful kelpie girl, who was rescued from a country pound and brought to Melbourne. She was named Sweetie because there has never been a more beautiful natured dog in all of time. She gave birth to three healthy puppies, and our wee boy Billy is the one that most takes after his sweet mum.

Billy may be a border collie kelpie mix but let's be clear, he couldn't be further from showing working dog tendencies! He is being fostered by a family with young children, and he is at his happiest when sitting quietly in the four year old's pushbike baby seat being trundled around the back yard. Or trotting behind her on her various real and make-believe adventures. He is a mellow boy that is relaxed around kids and cats and basically just goes with the flow.

Of course puppies grow up...so remember that there will almost certainly be challenges along the way, even with a beautiful, docile boy like Billy. He needs a forever home with people that are willing to invest in at least basic obedience, housetraining, regular exercise, activity and stimulation. He’s had a start with crate training, house training and a bit of ‘sitting’ training, and he's been a delightful, eager pupil.

Being a pup, he will adapt easily to most new circumstances. But we think he would be ideal for a young family where he can bond and grow with the kids.
