About Ash
Ash is a gentle giant and an absolute beautiful boy- inside and outside.
He tried racing and was quite fast too but unfortunately he was mauled by another dog in the catching pen at the end of the track. This experience has been quite traumatic for him but he was lucky in that sense that he now is in our care.
Ash is not even 3 years old (DOB 26/05/2010) and has been surrendered a couple of weeks ago. His foster family is absolutely in love with him because of his sweet and gentle nature. He is not yet quite over his previous life as a kennel dog and can be a bit timid in new situations but has made fabulous progress since he is in foster care.
Ash is great with other dogs and also cats don’t seem to bother him. There is not one mean bone in this dog and he is very tolerant of other dogs. He could be great with cats and small animals too and has not shown any chasing instinct.
Ash is a healthy boy, desexed, vaccinated and microchipped- he has his whole life ahead and will make his new family very happy.

2) Fill in our adoption inquiry form so we can learn more about you, your family and lifestyle.
3) We match a greyhound to your family and work situation based on the information given in our adoption inquiry
4) Kay's Greys conducts a house check and introduces you to the greyhound
5) If you like the greyhound, he/she goes on a 3- 4 week trial with you
6) After a successful trial period, the greyhound moves in permanently with your family. If it doesn't work out, we take the greyhound back and you can try a different one if you like
