Chompy Stomp

Stompy is an affectionate, playful, loving boy who is keen to please.

He is living with a kelpie and a chihuahua and when they aren't paying together, he is either sleeping with them or being bossed about my them!

Stompy is protective of his human and territory but isnt nasty. He is well mannered and loves being with people. He is a real smoocher.

He loves going for a walk and can be quite energetic. He also loves his food and gets really excited when given a bone. He makes the cutest little pleasure wimpers and his whole body wiggles with happiness!

Stompy needs a home where he can be with his person and preferably sleep inside at night. He would like regular walks to.

He will be ok if his people work full time with or without another dog.

Stompy hasnt been exposed to cats and dosnt understand them. Are they friends or food? So he'd do best in a home without cats.

Stompy enjoys going in the car, sleeps quietly inside overnight and is good on lead with a strong handler or a halti. He gets excited at the start of the walk and when he sees another dog.

Stompy spent 18 months alone in his previous owners backyard while they tried to find him a new home. There was no one living in the house. As a result he gets anxious about food and is very keen to bond to a human he can rely on.

Homeless hounds will give training support to his adopter but havnt found any problems with Stompy to this point. He has been with us since January.

Stompy is a talkative boy who looks me in the eye and moans, whines and yowls his wants and thoughts! I can ask him questions and he will wiggle and whine excitedly when i ask the right question. Eg, do you want a walk? Do you want food- answer is always yes! Hes quite human in his interactions and he definately tries hard to communicate.

Chompy Stomp is a lovely and striking boy who will make a great best mate!
