About Charlie
Hi, my name is Charlie. I am 3 years and 10 months old and was originally saved by Stafford Rescue 2 years ago when they received a frantic phone call from my owners mum begging them to please come and get me as her son was going to shoot me. I was adopted but due to a sad change in circumstances my owner had to reluctantly put "her beautiful girl " back up for adoption.
Because of my awful start in life I am scared around tall men with deep voices and a little timid around other people until I check them out and am then very friendly like all staffies.I am a little scared of thunder like most dogs but any issues like this can be easily fixed with the help of the animal behaviourists Stafford Rescue work with. You also get free training after you adopt me and Stafford Rescue are always here for you if you need any help. I am housetrained and used to sleep outside my owners bedroom or in my comfy bed in the lounge room. I was also kept inside during the day because the fences were not that good where I was and I could get out.
I am used to being around children and love being with people 24/7, playing ball and going on walks. I am really lucky as have been used to going on long walks twice a day.
I need to go to a single dog home with secure fences to someone who is home a lot and can spend lots of time with me and show me that the world really is a nice secure place after all. Does that sound like you ? I promise I will be the best friend you have ever had. Love Charlie.
p.s. Could you hurry cos even though they are really nice here and given me comfortable beds and some lovely pj's I am not used to being outside!
