About Tenika
TENIKA ADORABLE GREYHOUND GIRL
Tenika is a beautiful 4 year old female Greyhound who has sadly found herself back living at the shelter after experiencing life living in a lovely home where she was loved and spoiled.
Unfortunately she did not go as well as they had hoped with their cat but other than that was absolutely fantastic and the family was very sad to return her to the rescue.Tenika was great with the other two dogs, obedient and she settled easily into home life.Tenika loves the company of other dogs but would also go well as an only dog, she is very social as well as having a gentle and curious nature. She loves pats and cuddles and loves resting her head on a lap to be stroked. She is extremely responsive to training and loves to greet her humans with a wagging tail and her soulful brown eyes.
Understandably Tenika is very sad about being back in the shelter as she much preferred the comfort of a home so she is looking for her forever home ASAP where she can love and adore you as much as you will her! Are you the one that can make Tenika’s dreams come true?
We would like to get Tenika back into a loving home and out of the rescue kennels asap. You can see from Tenika's picture of her here with the two whippets that she is not a large Grey girl.
Adoption details
Please email or phone to make the enquiry about the dog you are interested in adopting and we can answer any further questions you may have. We will then send you an adoption application form to complete and return via email along with ID and photo's of your garden/yard and fencing/gates.
If the adoption application is approved a home check & meet and greet with the dog you are interested in adopting will be arranged. If you have other dogs in the family we like them to come along and also meet with the dog.
If all goes ahead and you adopt the dog there is a 4 week trial period to make sure they settle in their new home ok. If it works out well the adoption papers are then finalised and all dogs from our adoption program must be registered with your local council and the microchip details changed into your name and contact details.
