About Max
Max went on trial on 14/5/13. Max is a 10mth Ridgeback x. He is a stocky medium sized boy who will not get any bigger. Max has beautiful brown eyes that look adoringly at you. He is a gentle beautiful boy who is eager to please people. He is a gentle boy who loves other dogs. Happy not to be the top dog.
He is a very chilled boy who is very well balanced. He is happy to go for a walk. He is not a demanding boy. He is tested well with cats.
He walks around for a while, then has a snooze. He would happily sit on the lounge all day with you and keep you company. Or follow you into the garden while you work hard and he will sleep and sun himself.
He is such a low maintenance boy whose idea of happy days is a comfy bed. He does not mind a bath, he just stands there and lets you do what you need to do. He is a joy to have around
Yet he does enjoy a tummy scatch and a cuddle. He has a big heart willing to share his love with his new family.
Dog Rescue Newcastle www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation. Our adoption fee ($400) covers the dog's desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. . . . Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
