About Minnie *On Trial in Her New Home*
*MINNIE IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HER NEW HOME* Minnie is a delightful cross between super active and super snuggly. If you want a lively companion who will steal your shoes, run like a flash, but then tuck her little head under your chin for a cuddle and to say “sorry”, you're on a winner with this adorable pup!!
Recently rescued from our local pound Minnie is a happy, energetic pup who gets along well with both dogs and cats. She’s settled in well into foster care where she’s having a ball with her carers male Kelpie x Terrier and even her cat gets the occasional lick and a play-bow from Minnie who just wants her to join in the fun! She is super friendly and adores humans of all shapes and sizes though she might be a bit bouncy for a home with a toddler as she could accidentally bowl them over when she’s excited. Minnie doesn’t appear to have had much training so she’s learning to “sit” for a treat as well as the “down” command for when she jumps up. She’s surprisingly good on a lead, doesn’t pull and loves getting out and about. Minnie is pretty much fully grown and at just under 10kgs she’s a nice small to medium dog size who doesn’t appear to lose much hair though will benefit from an occasional groom. She does have a slight underbite so we suspect she may have some ShihTzu in her.
In her previous life we reckon Minnie was an outside only doggie so we’d like to see her in an indoor/outdoor lifestyle in her forever home (she’s already mastered her foster carers’ doggie door!) with either a doggie friend to learn from or on her own so long as she won’t be left alone for long periods of time while she’s settling in. Daily walks, ongoing obedience training, secure fencing, chicken wings to chew on (her fave!) and toys to keep Minnie stimulated will make her very happy indeed! \

Adoption details
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed,
references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
