On Hold
About Bronze (On Hold pending adoption)
Bronze is an 8 week old Shar Pei x Jack Russell Terrier puppy. Bronze and her sisters, Ruby and Opal, are really starting to blossom. They follow us around and are getting on well with our other dogs. They know that we have cats but haven't paid them or the rabbit much attention. All the puppies love to receive lots of attention and affection. They use 'piddle pads' well and settle easily at night. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
As the girls are getting bigger they seem to be growing wrinkles and rolls as well and getting cuter every day! They are starting to show their little personalities. Ruby is independent and playful and loves cuddles and food. Bronze likes to sit back and wait to check out what everyone else is doing before she joins in. She has been seen launching 'sneak attacks' on the others though! She loves cuddles and food as well. Opal is always the first to wake up and want to say 'good morning'. She loves her food but not before a cuddle.
For more information or to meet Ruby, Bronze or Opal please phone foster carer Cheryl on 0410-576-246 or email puppyfromchez@gmail.com . They are near Charlestown, NSW 2290 (south of Newcastle). You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Ruby, Bronze and Opal were born on 19/02/13. You can meet them now and pay a $225 deposit on your favourite then you can take her home after the 8th of May. The puppies have had their 1st vaccinations and are micro-chipped, and have been treated for fleas and worms. Their second vaccination and the cost of their desexing is included in their adoption fee ($450 each). You will need to take your puppy to one of our approved vets for desexing when she is 5 to 6 months old.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
