ABOUT BECKY
This little Princess needs a very special home. She has severe KCS (Dry Eye) which requires twice daily medication. She has gone through her trial period of treatment while in care consisting of 4 weeks of daily treatment using Optimmune Eye Ointment and has improved. This will need to be continued together with regular washing of the eyes. This medication is approx $65 to $100 per tube. She also requires regular grooming and maintenence particullarly around the eye area to keep hair and lashes from irritating the eyes. Her eyesight is not the best so she will require a special and quieter home where not much changes as she easily learns where obsticles are and adapts to her environment. Becky bonds very fiercly and quickly with her people and needs an alpha human to curb any undesireable behaviour that may arise if she is given too much free rein. She needs a loving, yet firm family who will treat her as a dog and not a human baby. She will be best suited to a two or more person family to avoid overbonding with one person which may lead to dominance. She gets along well with other dogs and cats. Would be best suited to a no child or older children only home. She reacts well to meeting new people and animals and would suit an active family or a family with a steady flow of visitors to interact with. We know the perfect family for this girl is out there and believe that in the right home she can live a long and happy life :-).
Medical notes
Has severe Dry Eye requiring daily treatment and deteriorating eyesight.
