Small Female Jack Russell Terrier Dog

On Hold
Tess is a lively, active jack russell terrier with a broken coat. Although she was initially a little confused about her sudden change in circumstances, tess has adjusted to her foster home very easily. She is exceptionally tolerant with our young dog, allowing him to chew her neck and literally, walk all over her! they keep each other entertained for hours. Tess is an intelligent dog who has learned basic obedience readily. She sits on command, walks well on the lead and is learning to come when called. It appears that tess has not had a great deal of training in the past, particularly with positive reinforcement. When called or disciplined she expects to be smacked. With plenty of treats and affection, she is quickly learning how to behave and is eager to please. Whilst she loves people and other dogs, tess has the heart of a true terrier and show not go to a home where there are chooks, pet rabbits or other small furry and feathered creatures. Tess would thrive with another dog for company and would probably be best suited a family with older children who would be gentle with her. For more pictures please visit www. Jackrussellterrierclub.
