Moose *On Trial in His New Home*

*MOOSE IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HIS NEW HOME* Laidback Moose is one of a litter of healthy, happy puppies who were born on 20 January 2013. Their mother is a black and tan Kelpie, while their father was a “visiting” big black Labrador/Rottweiler mix.

All of the pups have lovely, friendly nature’s and get along well with their carers other dogs and are used to being handled (cuddled!) by adults as well as children making them pretty much “bomb proof” – they’re even good with the household cats and the ducks and chickens! All of the pups LOVE food and aren’t fussy so this is helping with the learning the basics such as “sit” and “down”. We reckon they’ll be the size of small Labradors once they finish growing.

Adorable Moose is the funniest and the boofiest of the pups, hence his name. He’s a big cuddly dufus who’s a bit of a “mummy’s boy” and enjoys snuggles on his carers lap at any opportunity he can get. Moose loves a play with his brother and sisters followed by a nice long puppy nap; he can be quite the lazy lad! As he’s only a young pup he will require ongoing obedience training as well as socialisation with other dogs so he grows up to have lovely manners. Daily walks, secure fencing, bones to chew on (they love chicken necks!) and toys to keep Moose stimulated are also a necessity so he doesn’t get bored and up to mischief.

As Moose is already picking up housetraining he would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a doggie companion to learn from or on his own but only if he won’t be left alone for long periods of time especially while he’s a pup.
