About Ollie (On Trial 25/4/13)
Ollie is a 9 week old purebred Kelpie puppy. He has eyes that will melt your heart and gives cuddles that will make you fall in love with him. He is a typical kelpie: very clever! At 9 weeks old he has already learnt to sit when asked and come when called. He is learning to play fetch. He has become toilet trained in a matter of days. He is great with cats and kids.
He loves hanging out with his bigger foster brothers and sisters. By the end of the day he is worn out and loves to snuggle up on the lounge.
Ollie has a very loving nature. He is so sweet and well behaved. He is very gentle with the other dogs and loves trying to keep up with them. He loves going in the car and looking out the window. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training, and not to be left outside in a yard all alone.
Ollie would need to go to a very active family as he needs to live a very active lifestyle. He would make a perfect addition to a family that may already have an active dog.
For more information or to meet Ollie please phone foster carers Mat and Chloe on 0421 669 884 or email matnchlo@bigpond.com . Ollie is in foster care in Cameron Park, NSW 2285 (Newcastle).
Ollie's $450 adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
