About Alice (On Trial 22/4/13)
Alice is an extremely loving and friendly, 5 1/2 yo, kelpie x border collie. She is very gentle and great with children. She already knows basic commands and is extremely clever and catches on to new training very easily. She loves playing with her toys and playing fetch. She walks well on a lead and harness and loves to go on walks, especially to the beach. She plays well with other dogs. She was fine with the cats she used to live with.
Alice loves to be around people and would enjoy hanging out with you all day if she could. She needs to spend some time in the house when people are home so she can feel a part of the family. In her previous home she was kept locked in a garage most of the time so now she deserves to be an inside dog and to receive the love that every dog craves. Alice's DOB is 22/11/2007.
Alice is a very loving and a gentle girl, you can't help but fall in love with as soon as you meet her. She would make a great addition to your family.
For more information or to meet Alice please phone foster carer Nikki on 0405 048 564. Alice is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW 2303 and is available for adoption interstate.
Alice's $400 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
