Gotham

Gotham is a very happy big boy that loves people and wants your undivided attention. He is by no means a guard dog and will actually run the other way at hearing noises.

He is quite happy to be inside with people and would be very happy to be an inside dog, sleeping at your feet. He is very good with other dogs his own size but he has not been introduced to small dogs or cats whilst in my care.

When he arrived he didn’t seem to have had any training but now he is getting better with the sit command and will sit mostly when told and will also sit for his dinner. He is totally food motivated so training with food as a reward should be easy. Even though he is a large boy, he is still very much a puppy and loves playing with squeaky toys but will happily destroy the rubber ones so strong toys that can handle his punishment are a must. Because of his size and rough playing I wouldn’t recommend small children as he doesn’t realise his strength and would easily knock a child over.

He is a dream dog to take for a walk and walks by your side. He doesn’t pull on the lead but does want to stop at every tree and blade of grass on the way.

He is a very affectionate boy that will happily climb into your lap if you let him. He doesn’t realise he is too big to be a lap dog.
