About Cleo
Cleo’s a rather ‘chilled out’ cat but she can be lively, playful and yet also timid! Her foster care’s in a very quiet area so she’s unaccustomed to noisey busy environments. Once Cleo is comfortable she’s a lovely playful girl. She’s not an ‘in-your-face’ smoocher kind of cat’, more of companion cat = sit next to you or near you - rather than on you. She’s a slinker and will figure 8 around the furniture while looking at you for attention. She can be independent, like many cats, just wanting to do her own thing. Her fur is soft and short black & velvety. She dislikes being patted on the forehead (she has been like this since a young kitten) – prefers pats from back of head and down her shoulders. Likes a shoulder rub. Prefers pats and affection while she is sitting or standing on a surface, eg a cat stand, rather than being picked up. You can pick her up though, giving her a cuddle but not for too long, she wants to get down really. She likes to play, likes her toys, running around and then flopping over to show you her beautiful black velvety belly! A sweet girl that’lll be around you. She’s quiet. I can’t recall her meowing much at all, except maybe for quiet ones as you put the food bowl down. Did I mention she likes her food? Oh yes loves her food. She’s looking forward to having her furrever home and being the cat queen she was born to be. A good decent solid friendly cat, that will you bring much happiness and friendship. Not to mention her……lovely eyes to look at. She gets on very well with her other foster felines and my kelpie x dog.
Cleo turned 1 last December, she’s desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea’d and wormed. She’s also kitty litter trained. Cleo is $150 to adopt and this fee goes back to little paws to help other cats get rescued, desexed etc. It doesn’t cover all the costs however without the fee they could not continue the good work they do.
If you’d like to meet her, have questions or would like to see more photos..… call Foster Cat Mum Emma on 0466220000. They live in Salisbury about 15 mins south of Brisbane CBD or email her on emma.hart@y7mail.com Also…for more interesting info on black cats go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_cat or
http://www.csicop.org/superstition/library/black_cats/ … they say a woman with a black cat will get more suitors?
All Little Paws kitties come to you vet checked, desexed, vaccinated, micro chipped, wormed, flea treated and litter trained. As we are a rescue group, the adoption fee is not negotiable. Little Paws kitties are indoor or cat enclosure only and must go to homes that intend them to stay that way, for their safety and health and for the environment. It is our foster carer's choice as to which home a kitty goes to. We match kitties to their new family; we do not necessarily “sell” to the first caller. As our foster carers are all volunteers raising kitties in their own home, we would appreciate a call if you cannot make an appointment.
