About Betty
Betty is a 2yr old Jack Russell cross. She is a sweet and lovable little dog. She is wonderful with children and loves being with people. She enjoys going for a walk and is friendly with other small dogs.
Betty is well behaved but will need further training of course because she is still a young dog. We always recommend training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. She is housetrained and is an inside dog.
Betty is an adaptable and easy-care dog who will fit into any home where she will have a daily walk and be allowed inside and be treated like a member of the family.
For more information or to meet Betty please phone foster carer Karen on 0403-940-014. Betty is in foster care in Blacksmiths NSW 2281 (Lake Macquarie, near Swansea, south of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Betty's $400 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and microchipping and life time registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
