About Koda
Koda is living with her foster family in Brisbane.
Koda was rescued at 3 weeks old as she was sadly dumped.
Her foster mum fed her and her brother via a teaspoon and bottle till they weaned and she is now 6 months old weighing approx 3.4kgs.
This little girl has basic obedience and can be quite the little guard dog.
She is great with kids and she has been raised with 2 larger dogs, male and female huskys.
She occasionally has the odd accident inside but she knows how to use her indoor grass piddle pad ( which will be sent with her).
She is also soft crate trained inside if needed and this will also come with her as well as her leads, beds, blankets and toys ( she is extreamly spoilt)
Koda also knows how to fetch ball and bring it back and has great recall skills and knows her name well. She is also part kangaroo we think due to being able to jump so high.
She is used to being indoors and outdoors and doesn't mind riding in the car and is fairly other dog social. Basically she craves attention and wants to be where you are so will be happy for anyone to give her attention where they can.
Koda is cat friendly (though may like to chase them in a playful manner) but can be a little snappy if she's eating something that she thinks you may take. This is just due to her upbringing but can be fixed with training.
So if you're looking for a little snuggle pot that will love you forever, Koda is your pooch.
Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill an enquiry form.
You can receive this by emailing maggiesrescueadoptions@gmail.com or visiting our webpage www.maggiesrescue.org
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
