About Lexus (On Hold pending adoption 20/4/13)
Lexus is a 5-month-old Rottweiler X Doberman puppy and you can’t help but love her. Her favourite things to do are playing with children and toys and wrestling and rolling around in the grass with other dogs. When she has had enough of playing she enjoys napping in the sun.
Lexus is full of affection and enjoys the company of people very much. She loves nothing better than being part of her human family and having cuddles and snuggles. She is a very pretty puppy and looks exactly like a Rottweiler and has a gorgeous personality. She is mainly black with tan markings. She is very friendly and loves to meet new people and animals.
Lexus is starting to learn basic commands and knows \ her name and how to sit when asked. She is learning how to walk on the lead. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life.
She can be very excited around food, but she doesn’t have any food aggression. She hasn’t met any cats yet but she is only young and I’m sure she will get to love them too. She likes to travel in the car.
Lexus is very healthy and happy and is ready to find her forever home now. She would love a home with another dog as she enjoys playing with other puppies and dogs including playing with my adult Rottweiler. She'll need a daily walk, continued training, and to be a part of the family. She will light up her home with fun and playfulness.
For more information or to meet Lexus please phone foster carer Siobhan on 02 4952 5406 or 0408 603156. Lexus is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Lexus's $450 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
