Cassie

**11/11/08 cassie has gone on a 2 week trial, good luck cassie**a note from cassie's current foster carer: ~~cassie is an absolute sweetheart of a greyhound, she steals the heart of everyone she meets. She is very affectionate and loves to give kisses and cuddles to people when she greets them and loves to please. Cassie is great with children and is also small dog friendly. Cassie may also be cat friendly - she currently lives with a cat but she does like to chase him if he runs. However she will ignore the cat if told to and i think with the right training she may learn not to chase a cat that is more dominate (my cat is an oriental and is afraid of everything, so he always runs!). Cassie loves to go for a walk is is learning to walk well on the lead, but like most other greyhounds she does not require a lot of exercise and after a walk or a run in a fenced area she is ready to go back to the couch! contrary to what people may think, greyhounds are very easy to look after. They do not require a lot of exercise. They do not require a lot of grooming. They do not tend to suffer health problems like some other large breeds. And they do not have a strong "doggy odor" like some other dogs! they are great for small yards as they like to spend most of their time on the couch sleeping. Cassie is currently fostered in the inner west as is learning to live the life of an urban dog, but she would love to find her forever home. ~~
