Nugget *On Trial in His New Home*

*NUGGET IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HIS NEW HOME* Meet Nugget the little snuggle-bunny, unfortunately a change in his owners circumstances have left him looking for the companionship of a new loving human to share his furry life with; will it be with you?

Nugget’s a happy-go-lucky energetic fella whose tail never stops wagging! He’s friendly and affectionate without being licky or in your face. He adores everyone he meets and is good with other like minded dogs who he just wants to play with although in saying that we think Nugget would enjoy a forever home where he could have his humans all too himself. Nugget isn’t a barker even when his canine buddies, who he’s in foster care with, have been going off he just politely ignores them and then only barks for a reason. Lucky that Nugget is nice and compact as his fave thing in the whole world is being allowed on your lap for cuddles and he’ll stay there for hours if you let him!

Adorable Nugget knows “sit and wait” which he does before each meal - his love of food makes training a breeze! He really enjoys going for walks on a lead though hasn’t been doing this as much since his family split up so he may need some practice and a harness to counteract his pulling but hey walks are pretty darn exciting! Nugget lived with a rather timid cat who he tended to chase, he probably wanted to play though she wouldn’t have a bar of him, but now he’s in care with dog-friendly cats and he’s not at all fazed by them. We think Nugget would fit into most homes though preferably one without toddlers as Nugget is still a pup himself and could quite easily bowl them over in his playful exuberance!

Loveable Nugget really is quite low-maintenance only needing a short walk or a run around the backyard to use up his energy. He’ll require a brush from time to time and a bath as required. Secure fencing, lamb bones to gnaw on and toys to play with will make Nugget very happy indeed!

In his previous home Nugget slept outside though while in foster care he’s discovered the joy of sleeping inside which we’d like to see continued in his forever home – he’s adjusted quickly to an inside / outside lifestyle and has been doing really well with his toilet training only having the occasional accident while learning the households routine..
