About Daisy
Daisy is a sweet and loyal companion. She takes time to get to know new people, but once she knows you, she will follow you like a little shadow. She loves her cuddles, and going for walks. As with people, she is fine with other little dogs and cats, after she gets to know them. When she came to us, she’d lived her life as an only child, so had to get used to our hectic household. She has settled in so well! I suspect she would prefer another dog if they were on the calmer side, and respected her space.
Daisy also likes her own space and would also be suitable for a home without any other pets. Though, I would not recommend a home with small children due to her uncertainty with new people. We have a 13 year old daughter, and she is definitely Daisy’s favourite member of the family! So slightly older kids would be totally fine. She loves to sleep at the foot of our daughter’s bed and is so excited when she comes home from school.
She will make a good security dog, as she will bark and alert you when new people come to your home.
Daisy walks well on lead and has plenty of energy for an 8 year old girl, though she does not require a lot of exercise to keep her happy. She previously lived in a home where people were away at work Mon-Fri and she is used to that routine.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
