About Kahn (On Trial 24/4/13)
Kahn is a delightful 12 month old Ridgeback x German Shepherd looking for his forever home. He is an active boy who will require an active person who will take him for a good walk or run every day. He loves going to the beach! Once he has had his daily walk he is a very calm boy.
Kahn would suit a home with another dog or by himself - it doesn't seem to bother him either way. He will need further training with jumping and pulling on the lead however has gotten a lot better. He is still a young boy and could go to training classes.
Kahn craves cuddles and loves your attention. He is fine with children. He will happily sit outside all day if he has toys and/or another dog to play with. In the short time I've had him he has shown unconditional love and just wants a family to call his own.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
