Collie *No More Enquiries/Applications Please*

*NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* “Hello, I'm Collie! I look like a cute puppy, but looks are deceiving as I'm actually 7! My foster dad gave me a bath today for my photos, which I didn't mind at all, I'm also quite fond of a good rub dry. I'm told I am a Maltese Terrier cross, and I guess that's right, because underneath all that farm dust, my coat was gorgeous, white and fluffy! So at the moment I am living with my foster parents, on a farm. I have 3 sausage dog friends to play with, but because they are quite a bit more playful than me, I get tired more quickly and have to have lots of little nana naps. I like to sleep on my blanket on the floor next to my foster parent's bed. I don't jump up on their bed or the couch unless they ask me to as I like to think I have lovely manners. They say I’m a good guard dog as I like to greet people I am not sure of with a little bark. I'm not very good around cars, so it's best that I am kept in a secure yard away from them. Having said that, I love being inside them and have no problems travelling the 1½ hours from the farm to Mildura!

My favourite thing in the whole world is getting my belly rubbed, and I will come over to you and roll over to let you rub it - you can do it for as long as you want, I will stay there until you’ve had enough! If I have access to outside, I will do my business out there, and at night I will hold on until the morning, to go. Although I don't have a problem with the sausage dogs at my foster parent's house, I don't really like their cats much; when I see them, I just HAVE to chase them! And I’m a bit scared of big dogs, so wouldn’t want to share my forever home with one. My foster parents also have a teenage son who I reckon is wonderful, and I follow him around when he gets home from school. I'm not sure how I would go with little kids, but I don't think I'd like to be dragged around by one...I'm too old for that!

So that's me in a nutshell! Hopefully someone out there thinks I'd be the perfect addition to their family, and would like to offer me a furever home!”

Gorgeous Collie is quite low-maintenance only needing a short walk or a run around the backyard to use up her energy. Being a Maltese x Collie doesn’t shed hair though she’ll require a good brush once a week and a clip a few times a year to keep her coat in tip-top condition. Secure fencing, chicken necks to chew, toys to play with and lots of belly rubs will make adorable Collie very happy indeed!

As Collie is already housetrained and is used to sleeping inside at night we would want this indoor / outdoor lifestyle continued in her forever home either on her own, so long as she isn’t left alone for long periods of time while she settles in, or with a small mature doggie friend.
