About Ajax(2) (On Trial 6/4/13)
18 week old Ajax(2) is a laid back and gentle Red Cattle x Staffy puppy. He is a delightful young pup who is slowly learning that the world is not quite as scary as he first thought. He loves belly rubs and cuddles.
He is submissive to other dogs and plays well with his similarly aged foster brother and all the dogs we meet while out. Ajax also enjoy quiet time with his toys and is happy to sit and chew on them while his foster siblings play around him. He is good with other small animals and rarely barks.
Ajax is a very clever pup who has learned to come to his name when called, after arriving in foster care without a name. He walks well on the lead, can sit and is learning basic obedience. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
Ajax is a lovely boy who just wants to please and looks to his special people for guidance and reassurance. He will bring a lot of fun and affection to his forever home.
For more information or to meet Ajax please phone foster carer Cheryl on 0410 576 246 or email puppyfromchez@gmail.com. Ajax is in foster care near Charlestown, NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Ajax's $450 adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
