Pepper

Pepper is an absolute sweetheart with a lovely nature and she has so much love to give. She adores the company of humans and loves coming up and leaning on you for a cuddle. She will stand there and lap up cuddles for as long as she possibly can!!!

Although Pepper is a greyhound and has couch potato tendencies – Pepper is an active dog and loves going on walks, she would be great company for an active person or family.

Pepper was surrendered to Kay’s Greys by her breeder/trainer at the start of 2013. She was surrendered as she was deemed “too slow” for racing. Pepper was previously living in kennels on a paddock with 15 other greyhounds. When she came into the care of Kay’s Greys she was very underweight and had a wooly outdoors coat. Other than that, she was in good health.
Pepper is a very pretty lady indeed, she is tall and elegant with a black coat and little white chest. She is a very smiley girl and has big brown doe-eyes which will melt your heart!

Pepper is an independent girl and doesn’t seem to mind being left alone for short periods of time.

She will happily play outside and keep herself entertained. She is currently living with another greyhound girl and was previously living with multiple other greyhounds, so from what we can tell, she would be happiest living with other larger dogs.
Because \ Pepper was trained as a racing dog, she has a high chasing instinct and needs to be controlled around smaller dogs. In time she may become more comfortable with smaller dogs but at this point she would be better suited to a home with larger dogs and no cats. She is not cat friendly.

Pepper is a playful girl and loves nothing more than to play with her soft toys, she spends endless hours playing with toys and providing her and us much entertainment.
