About Polly
This is Polly, a happy and playful Staffy around 3½ years old. Poll’s quite a charmer; she’s very affectionate, has a sweet temperament, and loves to play with a ball or go for a run with her family. She’s very fit and needs regular exercise, but most of all she wants company and the security of a loving home. She has been an outside dog for most of her short life, but would love to have a family that let her inside for some time together.
Polly is looking for a new home because her previous owners have unfortunately separated, and she is currently being cared for by kind friends of the family. They have found her to be good with kids. We don’t know enough of her history to know how she behaves with other dogs; judging by her temperament we don’t expect that there would be a problem. However, can’t say the same thing for cats. Sorry to the pussycats of the world, but this girl’s out to get you!
If you would like to meet Polly, or to find out more about her, please phone Lynda, 02 4987 1213 after 6pm Monday-Wednesday, or any time on other days. Polly is in foster care in Tarro, NSW, which is not far from Raymond Terrace and not far from the end of the F3 (for people coming from Sydney).
Polly's $400 adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
