About Billy *On Trial in His New Home*
*BILLY IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HIS NEW HOME* Wow we can’t believe what a terrific little all-rounder Billy has turned out to be; his foster mum calls him “beautiful Billy boy”!! He’s looking for a loving forever home after misplacing his old one; will it be with you?
Lovely little Billy is a bit of a lapdog; two taps on your knee and he’s up for cuddles! He’s enjoying being spoilt by his carer and he's getting along well with her 3 year old Terrier/Kelpie x – they just love a game of tug-o-war! He’s not fazed by the household cat and he’s not at all yappy, in your face or licky. Billy likes to play fetch though doesn’t always give you back the ball, he wants you to chase him for it! He’s terrific on a lead and his carer’s been brushing up on his “sit” and “stay” and he’s getting the hang of his new name and comes when he’s called. This happy, loving boy is confident around adults of all shapes and sizes and he thinks kids are lots of fun!!! He also travels well in a car and enjoys visiting the local cafés with his carer.
Enjoy some video of Billy (you’ll need to copy and paste this link into your browser): http://youtu.be/Ncy9d9epdxA
Handsome Billy is quite low-maintenance only needing a short walk or a run around the backyard to use up his energy. Being a Maltese x Billy doesn’t shed hair though he’ll require a good brush once a week and a clip a few times a year to keep his coat in tip-top condition. Secure fencing, chicken wings to gnaw on, toys to play with and lots of cuddles will make adorable Billy very happy indeed!
As Billy’s housetrained and is learning to use a doggie door he would enjoy an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a small doggie friend or on his own but only if he won’t be left alone for long periods of time while he settles into his new home.

Adoption details
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed,
references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
