About Ronnie
We have been fostering Ronnie for a few months now and he is an absolute delight - a very friendly, bouncy, happy dog.
Ronnie loves people and other dogs. He is not aggressive, and he doesn’t get upset when another dog is angry at him. Ronnie is very easy going - he is not bothered by loud noises (eg vacuum cleaner, blender, etc) and he is not destructive – he only chews his toys and the treats that we give him. Ronnie does not dig holes.
Ronnie is small enough to fit through our doggy door (our other dog is a Papillion). He is totally toilet trained and will “hang on” rather than make a mess inside.
In his time with us he has learnt to “sit” and “stay” and “come”. We have also taught him to not jump up on people (which he used to do because he was so excited!). He walks well on a lead. Ronnie loves the park and we can let him off his lead when we are walking him as he always comes back when we call him. He pretty much stays near us when we walk him anyway.
Ronnie has total trust in people and it shows that he has never been hurt or abused. He was surrender to the pound when his owners couldn’t look after him. He has a lovely nature.
Ronnie is a joyful dog with beautiful, soulful eyes. He is happy and cheerful all the time. Any family would be lucky to have Ronnie, and he would be especially good in a family with children, or with another dog, who could play with him a lot (he loves to play!).
