Sandy

Sandy (a maltese cross miniature poodle at a guess!) is a wonderful playful boy - and he loves playing with other dogs. He is very timid around strangers until he gets to know them and can feel comfortable with them. Sandy is not suited with small children as he can jump on them, wanting to play.

Sandy has a beautiful gentle personality and would make a perfect friend and companion. \ He is definitely not suited to being left alone at home all day and must have the companionship of another dog.

He needs a fully fenced SECURE yard (colourbond fencing would be ideal) as he is a bit of an escape artist. He does this because he is unsure of his surroundings and begins to panic. He does like to sleep inside at night but spends most of his day playing with the other dogs and then resting.

Sandy has a gorgeous cream coloured coat - very soft - and requires the odd brushing and clipping to keep it looking good. His coat does need to be kept clean to keep him looking gorgeous. Sandy will bark if a stranger walks by or comes to the door - after all, he is a dog! Some obedience training and general commands would benefit him and help keep him well behaved.
