About Emma (On Trial 21/3/13)
Emma is a dog with lots of love to give, this affectionate 2 year old Mastiff x Ridgeback would make a fantastic family dog. She just loves cuddles and being around people so would benefit greatly being allowed both inside and out and taken with her new family on outings. She is well behaved on lead – doesn’t pull is very happy to just walk beside. She loves to get out and see the world so a daily walk to use up her energy would be good for her. Emma is great in the car – settles quickly and just lies down and sleeps.
Obedience training has been started and is a must to be continued with Emma.
She is very friendly with people, children and other dogs.
For more information or to meet Emma please phone foster carer Mel on 0432 288 773 or email me11ne@hotmail.com. \ Emma is in foster care in Edgeworth, NSW (Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Emma's $400 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
