About Bella (On Trial 29/3/13 )
Introducing Bella, a 5yr old Female Silky Terrier X. Bella is an absolute heart melter. She will have you twisted around her little paws in no time at all. \ Bella has had to endure a lot in her little life and is a true little trooper. What is amazing about Bella is despite what she has gone through she is the most loving little dog. She loves to be your shadow and where you walk she will follow. If you go into a room and close a door when you come out you will find her laying down waiting patiently for you to return. Although she loves to be on your lap she is just as happy to lay beside you. If she isn't on your lap or on the lounge you will find her all snuggled up in her igloo bed.
Bella was extremely underweight when she first came into my care but with some time, and a healthy balanced diet she is now thriving. She has a really healthy appetite, loves her breakfast and dinner and all the little snacks she gets throughout the day. This has really helped in getting Bella to a healthy weight as well as boosting her confidence. Bella was not socialised with other dogs nor really understood how to play before she came into my care. All Bella needed was some gentle coaxing, a little time, some TLC, oh and a few toys for her to come around.
Bella sleeps inside but has access to the backyard for when she needs to do her business. She would be best suited to someone who is home most of the time. Bella has a low shedding coat which needs regular brushing, bathing (every few weeks) and clipping (every 4 to 8 weeks) to keep her comfortable and beautiful.
For more information or to meet Bella please call Shiree on 02 43 921 834 or email shiree78@hotmail.com . Bella is in foster care in Kanwal on the Central Coast, NSW 2259. Bella's $400 adoption fee covers her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. Your support allows us to continue saving other homeless dogs like Bella. www.DogRescueNewcastle.com.au is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
