About Star (On Trial 21/3/13)
Star is a Lab X Mastiff (although I tend to think more border collie than mastiff either way will be a large dog) approx 8-10 weeks old. She is a beautiful puppy with a star on the back of her neck and gorgeous black coat.
She is a very bouncy, (still a bit clumsy on her long legs) fun loving, full of life puppy that will benefit from puppy training school.
She is an indoor dog that loves to be around people, likes to lay on the couch next to you or be near you and loves lots of attention and pats, and will give lots of licks back. Good with kids and other animals, she would definitely not be suited to being at home alone all day. Will sit for dinner but needs more lead training and toilet training.
All in all Star will be a beautiful addition to a loving family. For more information or to meet Star please phone Glenis on 0416 099 254 or 02 4399 3436. Star is in foster care in San Remo, NSW 2262 (Central Coast) and is available for adoption interstate.
Star’s $450 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
