About Dylan has found his forever home
Dylan has found his forever home.
Dylan is a divine dog his foster carer cannot fault him. A mixed blend boy who loves everybody, cats, kittens and all who meet him. Dylan is a tall dog but not heavy boned in fact we think he could be crossed with a small pony but temperament wise he is a gentle loving and playful dog. Dylan is fine boned and has a long whispy tail with a smooth easy to manage brindle coat.
He loves people, children other dogs and just life in general. A fun loving and gangley dog who currently is in care with ten other dogs and just having a ball. Not a mean bone in his body this sweet natured dog is a wonderful family dog.
Dylan lives with a tribe of children and animals and fits in beautifully. Good manners, obedient and fully housetrained this playful boy would be an ideal companion dog for an active dog seeking playful companion. Sounds like a dating agency but seriously this boy is a lover not a fighter and is great with children.
In fact he helps tend the kittens and cats each morning checking and giving them a loving lick. \ He allows the kittens and cats to sleep with him and ride on his back.
So if you are looking for a playful, fun loving and sweet natured dog and have a dog who is seeking a fun loving companion then Dylan is just the dog.
He has been brought up from a puppy to live, romp and run around a yard so be prepared for an active dog.
He eats like there is no tomorrow, and doesn’t seem too fussy what he is fed, as long as he is fed. He has been kept on fresh mince, raw chicken necks and also a small amount of dry food, the odd tin of tuna and an egg so like us humans he likes a bit of variety in his diet.
Diylan will sit most times when asked, doesn’t snatch food, sits and waits for the OK then he eats, he doesn’t pull on the lead and he has no worries travelling in cars.
He is fully housetrained and we just cannot fault him if you are on the lookout for a playful, gentle and loving natured medium to large but not heavy boned dog.
Given the chance Dylan will use you as his leaning post to get the weight off his tired paws, or laying post if you let him up on the couch for some cuddles (which he only does when invited). He loves the waters edge or a shallow creek though has never been big on full on swimming. He has been living with free ranging chooks since a pup and hasn’t hurt any.
He is a brindle colour and weighs in around 45 -50 kg mark. But, if you like a dog that you won’t trip over, he’s the one for you.

Medical notes
He is up to date with all his vaccinations and is on chewable monthly heartworm preventative. Life time registered and just brilliant with cats and pocket animals.
